Understanding Botox: Uses, Procedure, Lasting Affects
I've been administering Botox to Florida residents in the Palm City, West Palm Beach, and other surrounding cities for many years. Botox is widely known for its use in reducing wrinkles, but it can be used for so much more.
Beat those wrinkles!
Botox injections are most commonly used to reduce the appearance of unwanted facial wrinkles.
Botox for Migraine Treatment
Botox injections may also help prevent chronic migraines.
Other uses for Botox
Botox can also be used to treat conditions like neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis), and an overactive bladder.
How is a Botox Procedure Done?
Your Botox treatment will really just take a few minutes. There's no anesthesia required. Christie will use a small needle to inject Botox into specific muscles with only minor discomfort.
How long does the Botox last?
The effects from Botox will last 3 to 6 months. After that, your muscle action slowly returns, and lines and wrinkles begin to reappear. At that time, you'll need to be treated again.
